Virtual Reality, for a true experience of color

From the 9 th  until the 14 th  of April, during  Milan Design Week , Novacolor presented a preview of its Virtual Reality, a project that will be completed and launched within next June.  The virtual experience gives the possibility to get closer to Novacolor world with  three different moods  and  four rooms , dedicated pieces of furniture, overview of the home exteriors, background music, for an immersive and emotional experience. After choosing the room, the user can select and apply on the main wall one of Novacolor  decorative finishes , each of them complete with a proposed  combination of MATmotion flat paint  to be applied on the wall next to it.  The possibility to imagine Novacolor finishes within a residential architectural project becomes real!

Novacolor @ ArtFusion Event with Metallics & Technology

Novacolor  is  Gold Parner  of  ArtFusion Event , the most important event in Colorado dedicated to artists and decorators. From the 1 st  to the 5 th  of October, there will be  workshops  and  entertainment , while on the 3 rd  of October there will be an  exhibition   of works  realized by all the artists and masters applicators who will take a workshop during the event. Novacolor @ ArtFusion Event with Countertop & Metallo_Fuso workshop

Novacolor colors requalify suburbs

Requalifying degraded neighborhoods of the cities through street art works. It's the main aim of an ambitious and very creative project, the  Urban Art Contest 2018 , launched by the Faenza's association Distretto A, with the strategic partnership of  Novacolor . The contest of this year had the main objective to ideally unify two different cities like Faenza and Palermo, both strongly linked to the territory. The project promoted by the Association Distretto A - Faenza Art District and Assiociation Punta Comune of Palermo, supported by a lot of sponsors including  Novacolor , was won by the young Sardinian Tellas, an internationally known  artist, who presented the works  Terra e Mare  (Earth and Sea), perfect expression of the souls of the two cities. The  proposed art works tell about the opposites united by complementary elements, cold for the sea ( Mare ) and hot for the earth ( Terra ): a story made possible by the colors, from the  matt finishing MATmotion by Novacolor , leakproof and ideal for the walling artistic productions. Water-based matt coatings ,  washable  and  anti-dripping ,  MATmotion  colors are made to obtaine a uniform and continual patina on walls and ceilings, also on large surfaces. The quality and the guarantee of  Novacolor  became the main attractions of two old buildings in Palermo and in Faenza, returned to a new life thanks to the explosions of  MATmotion  colors and to the skill and creativity of the artist  Tellas .

Novacolor at the Biennale of Architecture in Venice

During the Biennale of Architecture , opening on 26th of May, Novacolor , leading company for indoor and outdoor decoration, announces its color for the city of the future: from MATmotion color collection , a nuance inspired by the word Freespace , title of one of the two important exhibitions where Novacolor will be the technical sponsor. The curators of the Biennale , Yvonne Farrell and Shelley Mc Namara , from the Irish studio Grafton Architects that signed the prestigious project of Bocconi University in Milan, have placed humanity at the center of architecture, focusing on the quality of the space, most of all the independent and free environments. The blue, the color chosen for the city of the future, recalls the idea of an endless space and reminds to the state of consciousness, peacefulness and harmony. The domestic environments and the common spaces we chose to spend our free time become a temple for the soul , where to rest and slow down to discover a more instinctive and human side of ourselves, free from the society’s ties. Within the Gardens of the Arsenale , Novacolor decorates the walls of the Venice Pavillon , creating an innovative and interactive path that becomes a Knowledge Space : information, therefore knowledge, is free and available to anyone and with any kind of goal.

Milan Design Week 2018 - A New Romance in Colors

New Romance in Colors  is the concept that will be launched by Novacolor during  Milan Design Week 2018 , from the 17th to the 22nd of April.  Romance  is the new protagonist of interior design, after years of obsessive minimalism, rigid geometric volumes and decorations. Nowadays lines are soften, corners are rounded, color is used more wisely to create shades and contaminations. A new influence that aims to build and live houses and spaces like a shelter,  a temple for the soul  where to regenerate and guard the beauty.   To present this new romance made of colors and textures, Novacolor chooses the photo camera of  Gianluca Cisternino  and the styling of  Alessandra Salaris  with their romantic shooting inspired by nature, where the protagonists are Novacolor products that speak about lime, metal and minerals: Metallo_Fuso, CalceCruda and CalceCruda Intonachino, Archi+ Tadelakt and Mirror.  CalceCruda , available also in the thick version  CalceCruda Intonachino , is one of the most appreciated products by Novacolor, also due to its property of “eating” the formaldehyde: the product helps to make healthier the surrounding environment by reducing the concentration of formaldehyde in the air.  Metallo_Fuso  is the latest born in Novacolor range: a decorative coating for interiors that turns surfaces into a real metal. Tadelakt is a precious decorative technique, coming from the ancient tradition of Moroccan artisans. Due to its high resistance to water, throughout the centuries tadelakt was used first to waterproof the tanks, and then to decorate bathrooms, facades, hammam and fountains. Novacolor was inspired by this precious material for the new product  Archi+ Tadelakt:  formulated with hydraulic lime and easy to apply, it permits to create warm and shadowed effects typical of Maghreb architectures. Finally  Mirror,  is Novacolor lime-base polished plaster for interior decoration. Formulated with seasoned aerial lime, selected inerts and rheological modifiers, it guarantees an excellent workability.
